Tranquility
Sleep lifts the burden of living, whispers to the soul to elope into a strange realm and await until it can reconnect to the quiet body. The gateway to death, yet not quite as peaceful or tormented but enough to release a sigh of relief. Little is comparable to the silence of the mind, when the anxiety dissolves and nothingness takes over. A quiet moment. The blessing of rest is immense, usually overlooked until one falls into a state of insomnia. When the mind races with heavy thoughts and the lucidity disrupts the peace, only the name of Allāh سبحانه وتعالى can bring back the quietness so let the last words of the night be ones weighty on the scale of deeds.
